Life-like Sculpting

If a picture is worth a thousand words, how much would a 3D art worth?

Indeed, a life-like sculpture of you or your loved one will be not only an ideal display art, but also an invaluable family treasury. Have you ever heard the phrases "Frozen Music", "Frozen Poetry"?

Of course, we are talking about good sculpture as, like everything else, there are good sculptor and bad sculptor. Here is an example.

The drawing and photo reference to the right were provided by client.

The prototypes on the left were made by two other companies. You might think they were OK, right? Not really if you read further; in fact, both were rejected by the client.

The sculpture below was our works. You can tell the difference.

We would also like to point out that our sculpture is different than those clay figure or clay bobble head, such as this. True, it is a type of art; but this type of sculpture basically focus on only some likeness, usually the face, but ignore the rest. In other words, it lacks details; which can be easily observed by checking the hands, arms, body, clothes, painting, and proportion of the displayed sample.

In addition, clay has a short lifespan; it will dry out in about a year, easy to break, and often cracks out eventually, so is not durable. By contrast, resin can last for generations. Besides, clay is not as good as resin for coloring.

In fact, the processing methods of clay and resin products are different as well. With clay sculpture, it starts by forming the figure using clay, baked, then painted. With resin product, we first sculpt out all details of the figure, make a mold out of the sculpt, mold the figure into hard copy, polish it, then paint it. The result, of course, is difference in quality and value.

Above is another reference of our works; in fact, most products displayed in this website are the works of our sculptors. Whether you are interested in an individual sculpture, or prototypes for mass-production, it is our artists who would do the job for you. How would you proceed? Follow these steps:

  1. You email, or mail, us the drawings or good photos (preferably different angles of same pose) along with other information such as size, coloring, and accessories (if any)

  2. We will quote on it accordingly

  3. We will sculpt the sculpture based on your design and photos. Once a clay sculpture is made, we will email you pictures of different views. You may comment on the clay sculpture, paying special attention to the pose, likeness, and other structural details.

  4. We will modify the sculpture according to your feedbacks, if any. Once the clay sculpture is approved by you, we will mold it into hard resin copy, color it, and take further photos for your approval.

  5. If the colors look good, we will deliver the finished sculpture to you by air.
